The Venue Reopens
The Venue was delighted to welcome you back again, from 4 July 2020.
Rest assured, the safety and wellbeing of guests and the team is of the utmost importance. They’ve worked really hard, taking great care in making The Venue covid-safe for you.
- Seating is spaced out to allow for social distancing
- Outside tables and benches have been repainted
- Mobile ordering instated. No need to leave your seat
- New indoor one-way system to create a smooth flow for customers
- Screens installed at all order points
- Sanitising stations for use of our amazing customers and team
- Welcome back signs at the entrance and around The Venue
- Completed COVID secure operating plan and risk assessments.

Dog Friendly at The Venue
Great news, dogs and their well behaved owners are still welcome inside at The Venue, all year round! The bar at the rear of the building (where the snooker table was) has been transformed into a comfortable dining room, where four legged customers are welcome between 11am and 6pm each day.
To ensure that everyone is happy with the arrangement, please follow these guidelines:
- Oh, we do like to be beside the seaside. However, all dogs must be on a lead, dry and free-from sand upon entering.
- Please do not place your dog (even a small one) on the table, in your lap or on a chair.
- Avoid the three B’s (Barking, Begging and Biting).
- Your furry friend cannot eat off your plate or drink from your glass. We have special bowls just for them.
- Our team are not allowed to touch your pup whilst working – although they’d really love to!
Live Entertainment at The Venue Cleveleys
Following the outbreak of COVID19, The Venue has taken the decision to cancel all live entertainment for 2020.
This will be a disappointment to many but they hope to reintroduce entertainment as soon as is practically possible.
Sadly, all the 2020 planned events at The Venue have also been cancelled due to Covid-19.

It’s one of the places that you need to head for when you fancy an evening out or a bite to eat. Whether you’re a resident of the Fylde Coast or here for a visit it should be your first choice of seafront place to eat.
There’s a choice of food for every taste from a quick bar snack or coffee and cake, through to an evening meal in La Mezzaluna restaurant.
The views at The Venue Cleveleys are unrivalled, certainly in the area. Sitting right next to the beach you can enjoy views straight across the sands and tide to the Lake District in the distance.
Summer and Winter
On a sunny day there’s nowhere better than the sun terrace at the front of the building – protected from the breeze by the glass screen you can catch a tan on your evening out while you enjoy a glass of something cold!
In winter The Venue is still a good place to visit. The sea is equally magnificent with a storm behind it – watch it in winter while you dine in the warm indoors.
There’s a second outdoor alfresco eating area to the right hand side of the building. See the blue tented roof on the next photo.
It’s an area where smokers can also enjoy an evening out and usefully doubles up as extra capacity for events. During warmer weather it’s great for barbecues and summertime events.

This multi-award winning restaurant and function suite provides exquisite views across the coast for your evening out.
La Mezzaluna is the ideal location for your perfect wedding day reception before moving into our Spirit Function Suite for evening party celebrations. It’s also perfect for the larger luncheon party or day-time corporate event. Dependent on the type of event, it’s also possible to hold a private evening function.

Spirit Function Suite – Downstairs at The Venue Cleveleys
Our stunning function suite is a popular destination for a variety of private functions. From birthdays to evening wedding parties and from christenings to engagement parties or anniversary celebrations. Pick from a choice of sit-down or buffet menus to suit any occasion and budget. Plus a DJ to create the right atmosphere and make the party go with a swing.
Spirit is suitable for parties of 50 plus up to a maximum of 200.
Functions and Events
Bring your function to The Venue Cleveleys and be sure of an event that runs smoothly. We regularly host all kinds of family occasions including Christenings, Weddings, birthday parties and funerals. Catering is arranged to suit your tastes and budget, with entertainment where required.
Group bookings are welcome. From coach tour operators to local groups and families bringing a party of ten people to celebrate an event. We enjoy welcoming everyone to The Venue.
If you would like to host a business event at The Venue please get in touch. We can provide refreshments on arrival, catering and room hire, including of course plenty of free parking for your delegates.
The Venue has its own large car park where coaches can also park who bring parties to The Venue. Please note that there is no lift to the first floor La Mezzaluna Restaurant, but there is a stair lift.
